Installation & Maintenance

Preparation
Work indoors, in a dust-free environment, and preferably above 10°C. First, thoroughly clean the glass, rinse it off, and carefully remove dirt, grease, and other irregularities. Then, degrease the glass with a suitable degreaser and dry or clean it afterwards with a soft microfiber cloth. Also, check the glass for damage or scratches beforehand. Next, cut the film generously to size, leaving sufficient margin all around for a neat finish.

Application
Moisten the glass completely with a water-based application fluid containing a small amount of baby shampoo. Peel off a strip of approximately 5 to 10 cm from the backing at the top and immediately moisten this side as well. Then, carefully remove the rest of the backing without creasing the film or touching the surface unnecessarily. Position the wet film on the glass, ensuring sufficient overhang all around. Press the film lightly from the center first to ensure it stays securely in place. Next, work with a suitable squeegee from the center outwards and from top to bottom, ensuring that moisture and air under the film are carefully removed. Use a smaller squeegee for the final centimeters and edges for a smooth finish.

Finishing
After application, trim the film neatly all around using a sharp knife and a short metal ruler or squeegee as a guide. Immediately check the edges, corners, and the entire surface for neat adhesion and a clean finish. Minor corrections must be made immediately after installation.

Drying and curing
Allow the film to dry for 24 to 48 hours after installation for good, permanent adhesion. Any residual moisture or small air and moisture inclusions may gradually dissipate during this period.

Maintenance
Clean the glass only after at least 7 days. Use a standard glass cleaner in combination with a soft cloth or microfiber cloth for this purpose. Do not use abrasives or aggressive cleaning materials. Application
Nano-EcoLine GlassShield is applied to the interior using a wet application method and is suitable for single, double, and triple glazing. Professional installation according to instructions is recommended for an optimal and durable result.
